introducing us
history
we've known each other quite some time now...
actually it's going to be our 8th anniversaryin march - on the 10th to be exact...
we've been living together for about 5 years now...
and have been up and about and nearly across the whole planet together,
we spent a month in peru in 2002, another month to and from and of course as well in mongolia in 2005, six weeks in india in 2007... and our next trip is going to take us through portugal for 3 weeks.
miscellaneous...
our rings were forged by the gold smith karl pfefferle, one of the very few masters of mokume game, a japanese tradition of art of metalwork.
the invitations are sandra's design (with a little help from aubrey beardsley) and were printed at the mechanical engineering's own printing workshop at the technical university by alex von grafenstein, a former fellow student of bernhard's.
susanne hesping will be our photographer for the day.
we'll see if we can come up with a band...
all bands in our circle of friends seem to have either decided to splitt up or already have an engangment somewhere else.
so if there's a band-member we're apparently are aquainted with, but has slipped our notice, please let us know... 'cause we're really not too keen on coverbands.
regarding the car... we were thinking somethig in the line of a citroën ds or id...
if you've got any ideas to where we could get one of these (hopefully very inexpensively) let us know!
the bridal gown was made by the dressmaker gudrun hanke.
the groom's suit hasn't been bought yet... so no idea.
but it's supposed to be a surprise anyway...
so might as well say no more at this stage...
